![]() I'm anal retentive like that and want to know and have power of these things lol. Also, since there is not wide support for the modwheel in SFZ, we use keyswitches instead, which some may find less convenient. Of course I know I can just go to another channel, but it's going to bother me to remain ignorant of what's going on, and have to resort to 'work arounds' like this, as I'd rather have it working the way proper way and way I want! Shreddage SFZ has most content from the Kontakt versions but does not have a scripted UI or true recorded legato (due to limitations of the SFZ format). Shreddage 3 Jupiter includes an updated version of TACT, allowing you to customize how all articulations are mapped and triggered Everyone has their own preferences for how to perform or write for virtual guitar, and with TACT you can create the perfect setup for your DAW. Has anyone ever experienced this or does anyone have any idea what's causing this? It's as if it's getting some kind of direct sound signal that's being played by Kontakt and somehow bypassing Reaper, even though I have it's midi in and sound out routed to respective channels '1' I noticed it when I went to adjust the volume on the mixing slider, and noticed I kept pulling it down, and hearing no difference. However, it doesn't respond to volume control on the mixing board assigned to it's track, and even if muted or 'master/parent' sends turned off, I still enough of the signal that remains playing at steady volume, regardless of what I do to volume slider. My two basses (Rickenbacher, Shreddage Bass) are fine and working the way they should on 5,6, midi out to Kontakt 5,6 for each instrument, then back to Reaper audio output 5,6.Īnd finally Drums and pianos doing the same on 7 and 8 in the same manner.īut when I went to work with track '1', which I had reserved for lead guitars to send and receive just like the other channels, it seems to be sending it's own audio signal independent of Reapers output.Īs far as I can see, it's set up the exact same way. ![]() All my instruments in Kontakt are working fine, with midi items and signals going from Reaper, to Kontakt on each desired instrument, then back to Reaper as audio output.įor example each channel works just fine the way it's supposed to with 3 different libraries of guitars (Banshee, Shreddage, Pettinhouse) on midi outs 2,3,4 and instrument assigned it's special midi receives on Kontakt's side, 2,3,4 then back to Reaper their assigned audio channels 2,3,4 again on Reaper side. Impact Soundworks has released their 'next-generation virtual guitar instrument' Shreddage 2: Absolute Electric Guitar. ![]()
